One of the primary objectives of the VSSCC is to inform the community about stroke signs and symptoms and prevention. Members of the VSSCC submit Partner Activity Reports on a quarterly basis to document the community education performed across the state.
The AHA white paper on establishment of stroke systems of care recommends that we increase visibility of stroke by promoting the message of stroke including primary prevention.
